Campus Update

The Spring Hill College baseball team suffered a mid-week doubleheader loss to West Florida at Murray Field on Wednesday. Both teams recorded 12 hits in the first game and went back and forth on the scoreboard. The game was tied 1-1 by the end of the first inning and the Badgers took a 4-3 lead over the Falcons in the third. Montevallo answered with five runs of their own in the fourth before Spring Hill tried to muster a comeback in the seventh with runners in scoring position. UM sealed the 8-5 win in the first game on a routine ground out to the shortstop. The Falcons kept their momentum going and dominated with a 14-1 win in game two over the Badgers.

Up Next:  Spring Hill will host Lane in a three-game conference series starting on Saturday.
