SAVE THE DATE! The Janden Richards Center for Community Collaboration will officially open Friday, April 28, at 4 pm. Murphy Fine Arts 203. Ribbon cutting (by Jandens family) + opening reception. ALL WELCOME!

Funded by a faculty innovation grant and family donations, the center will formalize and enhance our community partnerships with nonprofits and foster stronger collaboration across campus to continue the graphic design program philosophy of using design for the greater good. Named after Associate Professor Janden Richards who, as an integral part of founding the graphic design program at SHC, incorporated multiple collaborations with nonprofit organizations into classes over the years allowing experiential opportunities for students to address real branding and marketing needs. The first class in the center (nonprofit design) will be in Fall of 2023.
