O'Leary Hall Transition

November 28th, 2018

As we transition from fall to spring semester, we will also be making a move for some of our campus residents. As of Christmas break, O’Leary Hall will be temporarily closing in order that much-needed updates can be made to the bathroom facilities as well as some general maintenance performed throughout the building.

The residents of O’Leary, who have already been notified of the move in person, will be transferring to Skip’s and New Hall. Some O’Leary Resident Advisors have received new assignments for the spring. O’Leary residents will receive separate, more detailed communications from Res Life in regards to room assignments, turning in/picking up keys, RA assignments, etc.

These moves are to take place before students leave campus for the Christmas break. O’Leary residents will be given 48 hours (as opposed to the typical 24 hours) after their last final to move their newly assigned rooms. Help will be available from College staff and any others who would like to volunteer (like a mini Move In Day!). A Google form will be distributed to O’Leary residents who need moving assistance.

We appreciate the patience and positive feedback we have received from the O’Leary residents and are genuinely excited that the renovations will offer a more positive experience for future students.
